Preseason Quick Hits with Barbara Dapic

This is the eighth of 20 preseason features highlighting each student-athlete on the University of Arkansas volleyball team. Each day a different Razorback will draw and answer seven (out of a 15) get-to-know-you questions to give the fans a peek into their personality away from the volleyball court. The 2014 season begins Aug. 29 against Tennessee State at 7 p.m. (CT) at Barnhill Arena.

Day 8 (Saturday, August 16, 2014):

Barbara Dapic

Sophomore | OPP | 6-3

Split, Croatia (OK Brda)

Q: If you could teach a class on any topic, what would it be?

Dapic: Nutrition, cooking and eating healthy meals.

Q: Other than volleyball, what sport would you like to compete in at the Olympics (summer or winter)?

Dapic: Probably something with track and field, maybe high jump or throwing something but not running.

Q: It’s match point, do you want to win on a monster kill or a huge block?

Dapic: Huge block, for sure!

Q: What was the last selfie you took?

Dapic: Wednesday night with Kori (Ortiz) because we were snapchatting.

Q: What was your favorite sports team growing up?

Dapic: Hajduk which is a soccer team back in Split. It’s still my favorite!

Q: What movie do you know every line of dialogue?

Dapic: The Incredibles

Q: On a perfect day, what is your ideal high and low temperature?

Dapic: I would start the day at 25 degrees (Celsius) and then 35 for the high, back to 25 at the end the day. [Translated to Fahrenheit: 25 = 77 degrees, 35 = 95 degrees]
