FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – No. 22 Arkansas women’s swimming and diving fell to the Missouri Tigers, 166-134, Friday afternoon in the Arkansas Natatorium.
“It was a very close meet,” said head coach Sean Schimmel. “One of our goals coming out of last Saturday was to come in here and be a much better team. I was proud of them because this was more of a reflection of who we are. Unfortunately, we came up just a little bit short."
Despite the loss, the Razorbacks (0-3, 0-3 SEC) tallied six first-place finishes on the day, led by sophomore Aiden Lister, who registered two event wins in the 1,000 (10:10.46) and 500 freestyle (4:58.27).
“Aiden has certainly come around the past few weeks and that showed up today,” said Schimmel. “She had a great 1,000 and then she backed that up with a win in the 500. She had some big swims.”
