FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Fans can get their first game action look at the #Fastest40 in just two days when the Arkansas men’s basketball team hosts its annual Red-White Scrimmage on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at Bud Walton Arena.
Open and free to the public, the scrimmage will begin at 7 p.m. with doors to Bud Walton Arena opening at 5:30 p.m. Head coach Mike Anderson and the Razorbacks are asking fans to bring a non-perishable food item to donate with collection points at each entrance at BWA. While watching the #Fastest40 on the court, fans interested in purchasing season tickets will be able to select a seat available in the lower level. Ticket sales representatives will be available to answer questions and process orders. A limited number of seats remain in the 100 level while season tickets start as low as $360 for the upcoming 20-game slate at Bud Walton Arena. Arkansas returns eight players, including six of its top seven scorers, from its 2013-14 squad that went 22-10 overall and advanced to the NIT second round, good for the program’s first 20-win season and postseason berth since 2008.
Fans that made their way to BWA last year were certainly entertained, as Arkansas averaged 86.7 points per game at home, highlighted by a quartet of 100-point outings, and turned in six plays that were featured on SportsCenter’s Top 10 Plays (#SCtop10) later that night and the following morning.
