FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Senior forward Moses Kingsley has been named to the Southeastern Conference Community Service Team for the second time in the last three years the league office announced Thursday afternoon.
In a continuing effort to recognize the accomplishments of student-athletes off the court, this marks the 19th year for the SEC Community Service Team for men’s basketball.
Kingsley has turned into a true leader in the Fayetteville community, helping organize fundraising events and giving his time to the local Boys & Girls Club. He earns his second SEC Community Service Team honor as he continues to volunteer at organizations throughout the community to make a difference in the lives of those around him.
A two-year captain for the Razorbacks, Kingsley has participated in the Baton Rouge Relief Operation to help flood victims, was a part of the Boys & Girls Club Backpack and School Supply Giveaway, participated in Book Hogs program to provide children’s books to elementary schools and partnered with Samaritan’s Feet to provide shoes to underprivileged children.
The Abuja, Nigeria, native is averaging 11.9 points and 7.7 rebounds per game and is 13th in the country with 2.6 blocks per game. He is the league’s active leader in blocked shots with 241 and second in double-doubles with 23.
He is a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and a three-year member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll. Kingsley is scheduled to graduate this spring with a degree in recreation and sport management.
