FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks open Week 5 of the NFL season tonight in Seattle and it's another jam-packed week featuring former Razorbacks across the entire NFL spectrum, including former tight end Jeremy Sprinkle.
Sprinkle, who is in the middle of his third season with the Washington Redskins, has started all four games so far this year and has already matched his career high with five catches with a career-high 58 yards. Sprinkle has consistently gotten snaps this year and also seen time on special teams as he's recorded one tackle. Sprinkle and the Redskins kickoff against the New England Patriots on Sunday at Noon on CBS.
Wright Continues Hot Start
Two of the most productive #ProHogs this year have come in the form of Trey Flowers and Frank Ragnow. However, with them and the Detroit Lions on a bye this week, fans can take advantage of seeing former wideout Jarius Wright, who has been right there in production for the Carolina Panthers. Wright doubled his season reception total last week catching five passes for 59 yards, two coming on third down. Wright is an eight-year veteran that is still considered a downfield threat and has been helpful in opening up the field for his teammates in Carolina's 2-2 start.
Carolina goes for its third win of the year on Sunday when it takes on Gardner Minshew and the Jacksonville Jaguars in Charlotte. Kickoff is scheduled for Noon on CBS.
