AUBURN – Arkansas closed out the SEC Outdoor Championships with a 4 x 400m relay meet record victory of 3 minutes, 20.04 seconds while Sanu Jallow-Lockhart finally claimed her first conference title in the 800m with a UA and meet record time of 1 minute, 58.82 seconds.
The Razorback foursome of Sanaria Butler, Analisse Batista, Kaylyn Brown and Jallow-Lockhart broke the SEC meet record of 3:21.93 set by Kentucky in 2022. Finishing behind Arkansas were Georgia (3:22.54), Tennessee (3:22.73), and South Carolina (3:25.09).
Arkansas’ time of 3:20.04 is the current world leader for 2026, moving ahead of a 3:20.96 set by Norway during the World Athletics Relays earlier this month.
Butler and Batista combined for a 800m split of 1:40.65 and were followed by a 49.92 for Brown while Jallow-Lockhart finished with a 49.47.
In the 800m, the victory for Jallow-Lockhart earned her 50 points in her career at indoor and outdoor SEC meets. Her first individual gold medal followed five silver medal performances.
